Influences of Magnetization Direction on the Flux Leakage Field of Weld Defects

چکیده

The magnetic flux leakage (MFL) detection technique is applied to the of weld defects, such as cracks and pores. As has a distinct structure, there are differences in magnetization path field intensity under different directions. According surveys, suitable direction can significantly enhance rates small-sized defects by stimulating stronger signal defect leakage. In this study, ANSYS finite element simulation software used calculate based on quantitative analysis. Specifically, component strengths circular hole longitudinal rectangular groove compared when perpendicular or parallel weld.
